My list of patterns:
1. Mainly text
2. opposite directions
3. "Start Here" grabs attention, away from the rest of the words.
4. only colorful words
5. cluster of action words
Conclusion: Although there were a few differences between my patterns and the ones other people saw while looking at my collage, most of the comments validated my own thoughts. I used no pictures, not necessarily on purpose it just turned out that way. The words I did use were words that stuck out to me while I was quickly ripping through magazines. I put them in different directions on purpose. I wanted them to come together in a pattern. I thought it would be interesting to put "Start here" by itself at the top of the page.
There is a lot of bold text.
ReplyDeleteMost of the text are commands.
There are very few pictures.
A lot of the words are commands
ReplyDeleteThe overall collage conveys grouping, where "start Here" is off on its own.
Very Hectic and crowded, easy to get lost.
I noticed patterns of:
ReplyDelete-text
-no imaged
-one or two words per line
-action words
I see -

No pictures
Nice Flow
BIG Words
And it's all centered
Lots of text. Immediately the words start here draw my attention because they are apart from the rest of the group. Seems like it has some good insight and meaning. Pattens include: Primarily horizontal text. Use of adjacent texts as opposed to spreading them out. Also there are no images.
